Why D2 Was Created
D2 was created after an experience seeing a 4 year old girl in only underwear with a newborn hung from a dirty cloth around her shoulders, begging on the streets. As you can imagine this was alarming & heartbreaking. All those nurturing, protective and problem-solving instincts we have were on fire.
The situation gave us a sense of urgency. Which increased as we realized the vast numbers of children in abject poverty? Everyone said “Someone will help them”. But who? Shouldn’t we all be the “SOMEONES”? Why, because we need to do more.

OUR FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT
All children deserve the fundamental human right to have food, clean water, clothes, shelter, education &human connection. The children that need these basic human rights are in abject poverty.
These girls & boys have no control of the many situations that create their daily struggle.
DOING GOOD & MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACTFUL CHANGE
D2 is using the power of business to support organizations that align with these human rights. Using proceeds from the purchases of D2 wear we can make a positive change in the lives of children in abject poverty.
We are currently partnering with the Peace Makers Tabernacle providing help to an orphanage home in Orissa, India. These organizations provide education, education supplies, food, water, clothes, shelter & kind human connection. Giving children in abject poverty the hope needed for their future and easing their daily struggles.
Hope happens with this help. Without support needed, these children become unemployed, and or put into human trafficking situations in sex trade, slave labor or begging on the street. Our commitment is 365 days a year.
Our hope through helping is to inspire the girls & boys to see a brighter future and become resourceful educated adults who giving back.
